The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess (転生悪女の黒歴史, Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Akiharu Tōka. It began serialization in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine LaLa in August 2018. An anime television series adaptation produced by Studio Deen is set to premiere in Q4 2025.

Written and illustrated by Akiharu Tōka, The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess began serialization in Hakusensha's shōjo manga magazine LaLa on August 24, 2018.[5] Its chapters have been compiled into fifteen tankōbon volumes and a short story volume as of December 2024.[6] The series is licensed by Yen Press for English publication.[7]

Anime

An anime television series adaptation was announced on February 17, 2024.[1] The series is produced by Studio Deen and directed by Hiroaki Sakurai, with scripts overseen by Mitsutaka Hirota, characters designed by Tomoyo Sawada, and music composed by Ryūichi Takada. It is set to premiere in Q4 2025 on TV Tokyo and BS11.[4][41] The opening theme song is performed by Kid Phenomenon from Exile Tribe.[41]

A voice drama was released in the December 2021 issue of LaLa on October 22, 2021. It featured the voices of Sumire Uesaka, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, and Hiroshi Kamiya.[3]

By February 2024, the series had over 1.7 million copies in circulation.[1]
