San Juan Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) is a community-owned, non-profit hospital located in Farmington, New Mexico, serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Colorado, Arizona, and Utah. Established in 1910 by Dr. G.W. Sammons and Dr. A.M. Smith, the hospital was created to provide accessible healthcare and eliminate the need for residents to travel 50 miles to Durango, Colorado, for treatment. What began as an eight-bed facility has grown into a 198-bed acute care hospital offering comprehensive healthcare services.
