Ray Corral is a US-based artist. He is the founder and owner of Mosaicist Inc., a Miami, Florida-based design and manufacturing company that installs mosaic art pieces.[1][2][3][4][5]
Career

[edit]Corral began his career as a musician for Universal Studios working with Madonna.[6] Ray is also a partner at M3 Studio, during his music career he collaborated with Ish Ledesma as a percussionist,[7] he produced and contributed to various albums including, The Sun Is Going Down Over The Bay,[8] Pensando Rn Ti,[9] and What You Won't Do for Love.[10][11]
Art
[edit]Later in 1997 he worked as an artist designing mosaics in kitchens, wall murals, entryways and pools. He has collaborated with builders including Brian Van Bower and Ryan Hughes.[12][13]
Ray Corral created the Corral & Cathers Artist Fund, which supports regional artists with grants to further their professional development and skills in a various disciplines and mediums.[14]
Mosaicist, Inc
[edit]Corral founded Mosaicist, Inc. in 2000.[15] The firm designs hand-laid mosaic projects, including pool finishes, murals, backsplashes, and showers.[16][17][18] In 2021, Mosaicist designed, manufactured, and installed mosaic art for the Howard Hughes Pool located in Coral Gables Florida.[19] In 2024, Mosaicist completed two wall murals and a mosaic art installation for the roof in the $14M Pool Project at St. Regis.St. Regis.[20] Mosaicist have installed over 300 pools around US that include pools design for Larry Ellison and Arthur Blank.[6]

[edit]Ray was born in 1973,[21] He lives in Miami suburb of Coral Gables in South Florida.[4][6]
