Kingdom is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. It is produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Creations. The film stars Vijay Deverakonda.
The film was officially announced on 12 January 2023, under the tentative titled VD12, Principal photography began on 3 May 2023 and officially tilted announced on 12 February 2025.[1]
Kingdom was scheduled to be release on 30 May 2025.[2]

[edit]After starting filming for Acharya in early 2021, it was reported that Gowtam Tinnanuri had met Ram Charan and narrated a script which impressed the actor. The production was reportedly set to begin after Charan completes his commitments for Acharya and RRR (2022).[3] The project was officially announced on 15 October 2021, tentatively titled RC15.[4][5] It would be funded by UV Creations, in association with NVR Cinema.[6] The following August, however, it was reported that the project was shelved due to reasons unknown.[7] That November, it was officially confirmed to have been shelved with no reasons being stated.[8] Gowtam then reportedly visited Vijay Deverakonda and narrated the same script which also impressed the actor.[9]
The project was funded by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya's Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Creations. The company made a public announcement on 13 January 2023, confirming the project.[10]
The film teaser and title reveal announced on 12 February 2025, The film teaser voice over by Jr NTR in original Telugu language and also dubbed version voice over by Suriya and Ranbir Kapoor in Tamil and Hindi language.[11]
Casting
[edit]The film actress Sreeleela to play the female role, but opted of the film for unknown reasons.[12]
Music
[edit]The soundtrack is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, in his second collaboration with Gowtam Tinnanuri after Jersey (2019) and first collaboration with Vijay Devarakonda.
Release
[edit]The film was scheduled to be worldwide release on 28 March 2025,[13] but postponed due to production work. Now it is scheduled to be worldwide release on 30 May 2025, with original Telugu language and also dubbed in Tamil and Hindi language.
