"I Know" is the debut single by American rapper and singer Kanii, produced by Skuna. The song was released on March 10, 2023, by Warner Records & Masked Records.[1][2] It is the lead single from Kanii's EP, exiit. A version produced by PR1SVX was also released and features on the digital and streaming version of the album.[3]
Music video
[edit]The music video premiered on March 15, 2023, on Kanii's channel on YouTube and was directed by tommykiljoy.[4]
Composition
[edit]The song features bass, choir samples, and synths. The song can be classified as the combination of jersey club and R&B.[5] The original version of "I Know" by Kanii is a jersey club song and is written in the key of B minor. PR1SVX's remix is also written in the key of B minor with the same tempo of 134 beats per minute.
Remix
[edit]On March 24, 2023, Kanii released a remix called "I Know (PR1SVX Edit)" to platforms such as Apple Music, Spotify & SoundCloud.[6][7][8] The music video for the remix was released on March 24, 2023 alongside the song.[9]
