Gautier "Cole" Killian is a software engineer currently serving in the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).[1][2][3]
Early life and education
[edit]Killian graduated from high school in 2019 and attended McGill University, studying math and computer science.[1] He previously worked as an engineer at Jump Trading.[3]
Career
[edit]Killian was among a group of 19 to 24 year olds appointed to the Department of Government Efficiency in 2025.[4][5] According to Wired, internal records list Killian as a volunteer, and has a working email associated with the department.[3] As of February 4, Killian's name was listed in the EPA's staff directory.[6]
