Extra Decent (also marketed as ED - Extra Decent) is a 2024 Malayalam language dark comedy thriller film directed by Aamir Pallikkal.[1] featuring Suraj Venjaramoodu,[2] Grace Antony, Shyam Mohan, Sudheer Karamana and Vinaya Prasad in lead roles[3]

Plot

Binu starts to have mental health issues after witnessing the accidental death of his elder brother Shibi. His father Das shames him for his incompetence, while his sister Nishima builds a career in the United States. Soon, Binu uncovers a dark history, unveiling a twisted tale of revenge and redemption within his morally ambiguous family, which forms the rest of the story.[4]

Athira M of The Hindu wrote:"A quirky drama powered by a brilliant Suraj Venjaramoodu".[6] Sreejith Mullapally of Cinema Express rated 2.5 out of 5 stars and wrote:"An inconsistent dark comedy with an in-form Suraj Venjaramoodu". [7] Sanjith Sidhardhan of OTTPlay rated the film 3/5 stars and wrote:"Suraj Venjaramoodu’s dark comedy had promise but falters due to inconsistent writing".[8]
