The qualifying round of the 2026 World Baseball Classic, officially called the World Baseball Classic 2025 Qualifiers, will be held from February 21 to March 6, 2025. The top four teams in each pool of the 2023 World Baseball Classic automatically qualified for the 2026 tournament. The qualifiers will consist of two tournaments with four teams each, and will be held in Taipei, Taiwan, and Tucson. Two teams of each tournament will qualify for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.[1]

The format will consist of two rounds. The first round will be a round-robin, with the teams playing each other once. After the six games from each group, the first-placed team will qualify for the final tournament, while the second and third-placed teams will play in a seventh game for the second and last spot from each qualifier.[1]

Pool A

Pool A will take place at the Taipei Dome in Taipei, Taiwan, on February 21–25, 2025.

In preparation for the pool, some teams had played friendlies and tournaments, the Chinese Taipei team played friendlies against the KBO's Lotte Giants at February 12 and 13 in the Taipei Dome[3][4] and some Nicaraguan team players played the Serie de las Américas club tournament.

Broadcast

On February 3, alongside the first pool roster reveals, it was announced that the 2025 WBC qualifiers would be shown on the WBC YouTube channel, WBC Facebook page, MLB.tv and WBC website (WorldBaseballClassic.com).[5]

Like the 2022 qualifiers, participating teams will also have broadcast partners locally, as follows:
