DescriptionAll Saints Episcopal Church Chicago Illinois 2020-3608.jpg
English: All Saints Episcopal Church, 4550 N. Hermitage Avenue, Chicago, Illinois. Constructed: 1883. Architect: John C. Cochrane, with stained glass by the firm of Healy & Millet. It was built in the stick style, a rare example in Chicago. The structure is the city's oldest frame church; it was declared a Chicago Landmark in 1982. The bell both announced services and summoned volunteer fire department members in the community. A noted parishioner was Carl Sandburg, whose residence is located a block north of the church.
